Real Life Clinical Reasoning Scenarios
Each situation is filmed using real nurses and paid actors. Each scene offers an opportunity for students to test their clinical reasoning skills and then experience the consequences—good or bad—of each choice. It’s a chain reaction. A choice made earlier may have a great impact at the end of the scenario.
Real Life Clinical Reasoning Scenarios are developed by nurse educators and practicing nurses.
Electronic Medical Record of the patient: To assist them in their decisions, your students have access to everything from orders and progress notes to flow sheets and laboratory reports.
Optimal Decisions Highlighted Mode: It allows students to work through a scenario with each “optimal choice” highlighted to facilitate remediation. This is an excellent teaching feature that may be turned on or off.
Real Life features scenarios for the following courses:
- Adult Medical – Surgical (RN and PN)
- RN Maternal Newborn
- RN Nursing Care of Children
- RN Mental Health
